TREATMENT DESIGNED TO RELIEVE PAIN AND PROTECT YOUR TOOTH BEFORE THE DAMAGE WORSENS.

Cracked teeth can cause discomfort when biting, sensitivity to temperature, or pain that comes and goes. These cracks are not always visible, but if left untreated, they can worsen over time and lead to infection or further damage.

Led by Endodontist Dr. William Nudera, Root Canal Care Center provides precise diagnosis and treatment using advanced imaging and specialist techniques to stabilise and preserve your natural tooth.

Your Cracked Teeth
Questions Answered

what if i don´t have any pain – do i still need treatment?

do you use a microscope or special technology?

how long will the tooth last?

DO I STILL NEED TREATMENT IF I DON’T HAVE PAIN?

Even without pain, underlying issues can still be present. A proper assessment helps determine if treatment is needed.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY IN ENDODONTIC CARE

Modern endodontic technology allows for more precise diagnosis of cracked teeth. This helps improve accuracy, increase comfort, and support more predictable outcomes.

HOW LONG WILL THE TOOTH LAST?

With the right care, a treated tooth can last for many years. Long-term success depends on factors like restoration and oral hygiene.

WHAT IS A CRACKED TOOTH?

A cracked tooth occurs when a small fracture develops in the structure of the tooth, often caused by biting forces, grinding, or previous dental work. These cracks are not always visible but can allow bacteria to enter and irritate the inner part of the tooth.

Depending on the severity, the crack can affect the outer enamel or extend deeper toward the nerve. Early diagnosis allows us to stabilise the tooth, relieve discomfort, and prevent further damage or infection.

OTHER ENDODONTIC SERVICES WE OFFER:

Endodontic Treatment

In many cases, a tooth affected by infection or inflammation can be treated effectively with endodontic care. Designed to relieve discomfort while preserving your natural tooth.

Led by board-certified endodontist Dr. William Nudera, the inner portion of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected. The canals are then sealed to eliminate infection and restore the health and function of the tooth.

Endodontic Retreatment

In some cases, a previously treated tooth may not heal as expected or may develop new issues over time.

Under the direction of board-certified endodontist Dr. William Nudera, retreatment is performed with a focus on precision and long-term success. The tooth is carefully reopened, previous materials are removed, and the canals are cleaned and sealed again to resolve infection and preserve the natural tooth.

Root Canal Surgery

Also known as an ‘Apicoectomy’, Root Canal Surgery is a microsurgical procedure used when infection persists after root canal treatment.

Led by Dr. William Nudera, this procedure involves removing the tip of the root and sealing the area to prevent further infection. It allows us to preserve the natural tooth when conventional treatment alone is not sufficient.

What to Expect During Cracked Tooth Treatment

Cracked tooth treatment begins with a careful assessment to understand the extent of the damage and identify the source of your symptoms. Using advanced imaging and specialist techniques, we’re able to accurately diagnose even small or hard to detect cracks.

Once we understand what’s happening, we’ll talk you through the best way to protect the tooth. This may involve placing a crown to stabilise it, or root canal treatment if the inner part of the tooth has been affected, all carried out with a focus on comfort throughout.

After treatment, the tooth is restored and protected to support long-term health. Most patients find the process straightforward with minimal disruption and they have a quick return to normal daily activities.

WHAT IS AN ENDODONTIST – AND WHY WAS I REFERRED TO A SPECIALIST?

WHAT IS AN ENDODONTIST – AND WHY WAS I REFERRED TO A SPECIALIST?

Advanced Endodontic Care for Pain Relief and Lasting Comfort

Endodontic treatment is designed to relieve discomfort and address the underlying cause
of the problem.

At Root Canal Care Center, care is led by board-certified endodontist Dr. William Nudera, combining advanced techniques with a precise, specialist approach to ensure treatment is both effective
and comfortable.

By focusing on accurate diagnosis and targeted care, we are able to treat the source of infection while preserving your natural tooth and supporting long-term oral health.

Patients often find that treatment is more straightforward than expected, with most discomfort coming from the condition itself rather than the procedure.

When Should You See an Endodontist?

Not all dental problems present with immediate or severe pain, but underlying issues can
still be developing.

If you’ve been advised to seek specialist care, have ongoing discomfort, or are unsure about the condition of a previously treated tooth, an evaluation by an endodontist can provide clarity.

I was referred to this Endodontic Group through my primary dentist and I give this group a 5 star. They are very up front on their fees and they check with your dental insurance and they have no hidden fees. If you need a root canal make an appointment with them for a consultation and you will be glad you did because they are very reasonable and very nice. Thank you Dr Nudera and Dr Kim.
