There are endodontists and then there is Dr. William J. Nudera.
Dr. Nudera is a board-certified endodontist, educator, published author, and decorated military veteran whose career has been defined by discipline, precision, and a commitment to excellence. From his early training at Marmion Military Academy through to his advanced education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he has consistently distinguished himself through both academic achievement and clinical performance.
After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree—along with honors for clinical excellence and patient care—he went on to serve in the United States Air Force Dental Corps, completing advanced residency training and providing care both domestically and internationally, including deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom. His military service reflects a foundation of leadership and discipline that continues to shape his approach to patient care today.
Dr. Nudera later completed his specialty training in endodontics at UIC, earning both his Endodontic Certificate and a Master of Science in Oral Sciences. His research has been published in the Journal of Endodontics, and he remains actively involved in advancing the field through teaching, lecturing, and
clinical innovation.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Nudera provides highly specialized care focused on precision, efficiency, and long-term outcomes. He owns and operates two endodontic practices in the Chicago area, where his approach is centered on preserving natural teeth through modern,evidence-based techniques.
